When a user clicks on the reply button in Outlook 2016, the email draft opens in the same screen. Sometimes, the draft may appear in a constrained reading pane which would greatly reduce the visibility of the overall message. There is a button which allows the user to Pop Out the draft into a separate window, but this article will discuss how to open a new window when replying in Outlook 2016 automatically each time the reply button is clicked.
How to Open a New Window When Replying in Outlook 2016
The change is applied through the Outlook Options. Here are the steps:
- Click on File > Options
- Click on Mail
- Scroll down until you reach Replies and forwards section
- Click on Open replies and forwards in new window checkbox to enable it
- Click OK
That’s it! From now on, when you click on the Reply button, the draft will open in a new window giving you more visibility of your message.
