No one can even come close to guessing it except you as you have written it down somewhere or have it etched in memory. Now, if you happen to forget your Windows 7 password, it’s a heck of a lot of work to recover it. Before that happens, it is a wise idea to create a Windows 7 Password Reset Disk. It’s very simple and will save you a lot of time in the future if you happen to forget your password. The steps are given below.
Step 1: Collect a Removable Media
A removable media can be either a USB flash drive, CD, DVD or a Floppy Disk. An external hard drive may also work. However, an USB flash drive is the most ideal choice.
Step 2: Insert the Removable Media
Connect/Insert your choice of removable media to the computer.
Step 3: Open the Password Reset Disk Control Panel
Click on Start -> Control Panel -> User Accounts and Family Safety -> User Accounts -> From the left pane click on Create a password reset disk link
