iPhone 4 vs. HTC Desire Z

iPhone 4 has higher processor speed, 1GHz, compared to 800 MHz speed of HTC Desire Z.

Operating System:
iPhone 4 runs on Apple’s OS 4. HTC Desire runs on Google’s Android 2.2. There are more than 250,000 apps available for iPhone 4 compared to  80,000 plus apps available for HTC Desire Z. On the contrary, HTC has integrated social networking features that support Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Memory:
Both models have 512 mb RAM.

iPhone 4 lacks this feature. HTC Desire Z has FM Radio tuner.
