How to Delete or Uninstall Apps in iPad and iPad Mini

Perform the following actions if you wish to uninstall or delete any apps on iPad or iPad mini:

1. Touch and hold the icon of the app that you wish to delete
2. Wait until all the icon start jiggling and “x” appear on top of every icon
3. Press the “x” area
4. Confirm Delete

What happens if you do not see the “x” on top of the icons? You just have to enable Deleting Apps. Here is how it is done:

1. Tap Settings
2. Tap General
3. Tap Restrictions
4. Turn on Deleting Apps
5. Once you return back to the home screen, pressing and holding the app icon will have the “x” appear which will enable you to delete the app
