Display: 4.3″ SUPER AMOLED Plus display, an improved version of an already amazing screen that appeared on the original Galaxy S. Provides better battery consumption. Screen resolution is 480 x 800 pixels. Gorilla glass display prevents damage to screen.

Multimedia: AllShare lets the Samsung GALAXY S II link wirelessly with a TV, laptop or even audio system to play multimedia files directly from the phone. AllShare synchronizes the phone with a compatible DLNA based product. Can playback many video formats. Supported video playback formats are MPEG4, H.264, H.263, WMV, DivX, Xvid, VC-1. Has FM radio feature. Provides amazing game playing experience with dedicated Mali-400MP GPU graphics processor. Can playback audio from the following formats: MP3, OGG, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, AMR-NB, AMR-WB, WMA, WAV, MID, AC3, IMY, FLAC and XMF. 3.5 mm earphone jack included.

OS and Processor: Runs on Android OS v2.3 (Gingerbread), Dual-core 1.2GHz ARM Cortex-A9 proccessor. Makes multi-tasking a breeze and runs applications smoothly.

Storage and Memory: Available in 16 or 32 GB internal storage memory.  1 GB RAM, sufficient to run the phone super fast. Allows memory expansion of up to 32 GB through microSD card slot.

Camera: 8 MP, up to 3264×2448 pixels resolution, autofocus, LED flash rear camera. Takes amazing quality pictures. 2MP front camera. Can record 1080p at 30 frames per second HD videos.

Internet and Bluetooth: Wi-fi a/b/g/n access. Supports 3G, EDGE and GPRS networks. Has micro USB and Wi-Fi® Internet tethering feature, allows sharing of Internet connection with laptop. Bluetooth® 3.0 capable.

Conclusion: An excellent iPhone alternative. Samsung Galaxy S II is a nice slim phone that is built to entertain.
