1. Click Start -> Accessories -> Run
2. Type in msconfig and press enter.
3. Go to Boot Tab.
4. Click Safe Boot checkbox and press ok. You can also choose network feature, etc in the options.
5. You will be prompted to restart. Once you do so, you will restart in Safe Mode.
In order to start windows normally, follow the same steps and uncheck the Safe Boot checkbox and press Ok.
